LPG Systems (Storage)

There are normally Three methods to store the LPG:-

1 – VOT SYSTEM :-

It is a VAPOUR OFF TAKE system & is widely used in commercial establishments. The Cylinders delivers the LPG in Vapour Form, which is formed in the cylinders according to the Temperature in the atmosphere & due to restriction of atmospheric condition the output generated in the Cylinder is very low (0.5 to 1.0 kg/hr). So these kinds of systems are recommended, where the consumption is not more than 25 – 30 kg/hr.

2 – LOT SYSTEM :-

It is a LIQUID OFF TAKE system & is widely used in Industries. These systems are replacing the bigger VOT system & smaller Bulk Storage Systems. This system draw the liquid form the cylinder & it is being artificially heated with the help of VAPORISER to achieve the desired flow of the gas. So these systems are recommended for the consumption more than 25kg/hr. & normally up to 250kg/hr. If we look on the daily consumption it is good up to 1000 kg/day.
